At the young age of 6, Dr. Sydney Burianek dressed as a dentist for Career Day in kindergarten and never looked back!
Born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Dr. Burianek attended University of Nebraska at Lincoln and went on to graduate from UNMC College of Dentistry.
Dr. Burianek has been an incredible addition to our Village Pointe Team. Her empathy and attention to detail allow her to create personalized treatment plans for each patient to achieve their desired results. With a special interest in Invisalign, sleep dentistry, esthetics, and laser dentistry, she has passion for delivering innovative dental care while utilizing modern techniques to provide treatments that prioritize patient comfort and most importantly, long-term oral health. Dr. Burianek believes a beautiful smile certainly is a confidence-booster and a healthy mouth contributes to your overall health. Dr. Burianek is dedicated to ensuring that every patient under her care feels at ease throughout their dental journey.
Dr. Burianek loves developing relationships with people of all ages, backgrounds, cultures and abilities. She has also been on several medical mission trips around the world including Peru and Jamaica and looks forward to many others.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Burianek enjoys spending time with her husband, Nick, son, Roman and her two dogs, Dexter (husky) and Thor (mutt!). A true foodie at heart, Dr. Burianek loves exploring new culinary experiences and sharing meals with family and friends. She and her husband have visited over 800 restaurants (and counting!) together. If you come in to see her, feel free to share your restaurant recommendations! Finally, Dr. Burianek loves to travel as well as attend Husker and Creighton athletic events.
